We are able to offer our design service to all clients regardless of their location and regardless of whether their dream garden is English Cottage Garden Design, Contemporary Garden Design or Marine Garden Design.

We are based on the Sussex coast and for reasons of practicality and cost we are not able to visit clients outside of London and the Southeast of England. With the postal service we can operate:

Sussex is a very diverse county with the rolling South Downs, rural villages, coastal towns and villages, including the spectacular ciffs of Beachy Head and the bustling cosmopolitan city of Brighton.

• Convenient and simple to use

Many people lead busy lives and are not able to commit their time to attend the meetings that the full Bespoke Service would require. 

The Postal Service allows for flexibility - the client can work from the Master Plan to self-build a beautiful garden, as time and finances allow, or, employ a local contractor to under-take the construction.  The client is not limited to the availibility of a local designer who may be less qualified and experienced than Avant-Gardens.

We believe The Postal Service represents superb value-for-money.  For the cost of a couple of specimen plants we are able to create a Professional, Innovative and Practical Master Plan which will ensure all future costs for the garden will be economical.

• We will e-mail, or post, a questionnaire to you
• We will include simple instructions on how to measure your garden accurately
• We will instruct you how to take the photographs that we require
• The client will complete the questionnaire, take the photographs and measurements 

This information will form the brief that we design to.  We specialise in many styles including English Cottage Garden Design, Contemporary Garden Design and Marine Garden Design.

We will design your garden and post the laminated drawings to you as the Master Plan for your new garden.

An average sized garden will cost £350 for the Master Plan and will include an additional drawing showing the Planting Plan

A beautifully presented Master Plan for your garden, in A3 format (420mm x 297mm) - laminated for durability.  The plan will include imagery to show how your garden will look when constructed.  

The Planting Plan will also be A3 format and laminated. It will detail the exact numbers, pot sizes and planting positions of all the plants detailed on the plan.

All our designs are original and bespoke to your design brief which is established from the questionnaire.  We cater for all garden styles, specialising in English Cottage Garden Design, Contemporary Garden Design and Marine Garden Design

This service would make the perfect gift for a birthday, Christmas or other special occasion.

For £350 we send you an attractive, gift box containing a voucher entitling the recipient to a full garden design. The design will be tailored made to their needs and expectations.  The gift box will include a questionnaire and survey information as laid out above.
