The design was based on three decks - 'Breakfast Deck', 'Dining Deck' and 'Sun Deck'. A moveable bridge, across a pond - lined with polished white cobbles - connects the 'Kitchen Deck' with the 'Sun Deck'. The Planting used was mostly large architectural specimens, Bamboos and Grasses.

The existing garden, although tidy and functional, was bland and segregated into two halves by the low retaining wall. We cut into the wall to create an 'Italian Water Garden', which created a focal point when viewed from the lounge. The clients wanted a 'Garden of Rooms', each 'room' having it's own use. The garden included a: 'Children's Play Room', a 'Dining Room', a 'Winter Garden', 'Kitchen' (for growing herbs), 'Wildlife Garden' and a 'Sun Room' (formal, oval lawn and arbour).

Our clients, Richard and Penny had just moved into a new house having previously lived in an older house with a much larger, mature garden. They are keen gardeners and were upset about leaving behind a garden they had built up over a number of years. The brief they gave us was to create a 'mature' garden as quickly as possible. You can see from the 'After' image what can be achieved through using the right plants, in the right way - instant maturity. In fact the photograph was taken the day construction was completed!.

As you can see from the 'Before' image, our clients Debbie and John presented us with quite a challenge!. The existing garden had been neglected for many years and they had a tight budget. To make the job more affordable, the clients wanted to do the planting themselves, we were able to give them a beautiful start with the hard landscaping, lawn and fences. We were happy to give them advise on the planting and supply some of the plants.

Our clients John and Jeannie wanted to create a wildlife haven in the middle of surburbia but were unsure of how to go about the process. They were able to give us a clear brief on what they wanted and from this we were alble to create something a bit special!. At the heart of the design is a natural pond set at the bottom of a wildlife bank. A diverse range of planting was used, including an area for sowing of wildflower seeds. The overall look of the new garden was contemporary, but with a natural 'feel' as well as a hint of spirituality!

We were called in to help a retired couple who once had a beautiful garden, but were now unable to manage the maintenance of it. The garden was looking sad and neglected and had been stripped of all planting. We constructed a series of wooden planters which were easy to maintain, doubled-up as seating and assisted in movement around the garden.

The clients here decided they wanted to make an impression when the cars arrived to take their daughter to her wedding.
